New Talent in Charleston

New Talent in Charleston
by Bill Olsen

Natalia Warner and Robert Giroud have begun working with Marc Gagnon, Photographic Artist. Marc Gagnon was working with someone in South Florida. Unfortunately, the people in South Florida were not friendly and were rather abusive and arrogant. Gagnon ceased and severed the relationship and reached out to all of his agents to find a Black model to work on some civil rights pieces. That incident led me to Robert Giroud who is working with Walter Jefferies a local photographer out of Charleston, SC.

Marc Gagnon has found Robert Giroud to be very professional, talented and with much future. On Saturday night, Robert introduced Marc at a Santee Center event on Mr. Jefferies photo exhibit.  Robert Giroud has been quoted by saying "I am indeed thankful to be working with two such fine people in Mr. Jefferies and Mr. Gagnon."

Gagnon also just started working with Natalia Warner who is also out of Charleston. Martha Newman and I met her at California Dreamin Restaurant. Some people are impressed that she is much younger than her actual age. She is currently attending Charleston College. Marc will be visiting Charleston SC on a regular basis and the two models will be traveling further South both to Georgia and Florida in continually working with Gagnon.

  1. Bill, thanks for the post. Just to show you how much of a red neck area South Florida is, I actually got a couple of hits on facebook from women who did not like Natalia. As you know, I have difficulty in finding people here. As we know, she had to quit her waitress job because of the high volume of modeling work and her father is declaring her. Most people down here think Ford is only an automotive company which is why I search for models in more sophisticated places like Charleston and the Northeast. It is not a cut on South Florida. Just the truth. Just look at the guy I had before you found Giroud for me for the civil rights images.

  3. No problem Marc. We love to have you up here in Charleston. It was great having Michelle down here as well. Eric, Martha and I like to see former friends from New England. I think that she and Giroud will do well. Charleston is a friendly place and the people do not seem to have anger here. I do not think I would like moving to Florida.

  5. Somone actually reached out to you Marc. How classless. She has a strong look. I have seen similarities to her look before while perusing the Wilhelmina book that Rhonda Niles was in.
